11) Remove the connectors on the lower board. Note which connector goes

where, particularly the orientation of the connectors.

The lower board will look like this figure.

12) The next step is to solder a thin wire between resistor 405 and diode 405.

13) Re-connect the connectors on the lower board and solder back all the wires

you unsoldered.

14) Put the batteries back in.
